    Friday 3rd September, 2010
    (IANS)

With Delhi Metro now reaching the capital's south, its managing director E. Sreedharan Friday took the opportunity to ride a train on the newly-opened Central Secretariat-Qutub Minar corridor while going back home.

Sreedharan, who resides in Metro Enclave of south Delhi's Pushp Vihar locality, boarded the train at Barakhamba metro station, where his office is situated.

A Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) spokesperson said the 78-year-old metro chief changed the train at Rajiv Chowk for one to Saket.

'Sreedharan took a metro ride from Rajiv Chowk metro station to Saket station,' the spokesperson said.
