    (ANI)

At least five houses belonging to Christian families were looted and then set on fire by a rowdy mob in Narang Mandi area here.

According to sources, the mob attacked the houses following alleged involvement of the Christian families in the murder of two young sons of the landlord of Kirtu Pandoori village.

The affected families have complained that the mob deliberately torched several copies of Bible kept in the houses, however, a local police official said the police is investigating the issue and would file a detailed report later.

"Police has so far not mentioned blasphemy in the FIR because we will visit the site of the incident on Thursday (today), and if we find any burnt pieces of the Bible then we will include blasphemy in the report." The Daily Times quoted senior official Farhan Aslam, who is investigation the case, as saying. (ANI)
