India scotches Pak allegations of involvement in Lahore serial blasts
    Pakistan Telegraph
    Saturday 13th March, 2010
    (ANI)

India has rebuffed the statements emanating from Pakistan alleging Indian hands in series of attacks, which rocked Lahore on Friday.

MEA in a statement said, "We categorically reject, once again, the allegations of India's involvement in such acts. Government has reiterated on several occasions, and at the highest level, that India has no interest in destabilizing Pakistan".

The statement further said it is unfortunate that by repeating such unfounded and unsubstantiated allegations, officials in responsible positions in the Government of Pakistan put a strain on our bilateral relationship, instead of concentrating on dismantling the infrastructure of terrorism directed against India and adversely impacting on Pakistan itself.

India has condemned the Lahore attacks and expressed condolences to the families of the victims.

More than 45 people were killed and over 100 injured in a series of blasts in Lahore. Taliban has already claimed the responsibility of the blasts. (ANI)
