Cheryl looks healthy in first public outing post malaria
    Pakistan Telegraph
    Friday 30th July, 2010
    (IANS)

Singer Cheryl Cole, who is recovering from malaria, looked well on the way back to health as she made her first public appearance after being struck down by the mosquito-borne disease.

The 'X Factor' judge, still rebuilding her strength after a bout of malaria, left her house for only 15 minutes. She was then driven to the coffee shop on the A3 near Guildford, Surrey.

The 'Girls Aloud' star looked pale but upbeat and wore jeans, flip flops, and a white jumper.

'Her driver was at her side every step of the way. She spoke to the manager and the staff, who seemed to know her pretty well,' thesun.co.uk quoted an onlooker as saying.

'She only spent a few minutes inside. While there she signed an AIDS petition and put money in a Help for Heroes charity tin,' the onlooker added.
